Location: Tampa, FL 33619 – This position is onsite
Type: Contract to hire
Pay Rate: $18 hr
Start date: June 2, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM –4:30 PM
Job description:
The Customer Service Representative will act as the first point of contact for our customers and will be the face of Authority Garage Supply throughout our customer experience. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for answering inbound calls and communicating with our customers to ensure their needs are met. They will also participate in the processing of orders and communicate these changes to our customers.
- Answer inbound phone calls and direct calls to the correct department
- Identify customer needs based on business goals and objectives
- Build sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication with customers
- Provide accurate information by using the right tools and methods
- Meet personal customer service standards set by the company
- Maintain customer satisfaction levels through effective communication
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- 2+ years of customer service experience in an industrial environment (preferred)
- Customer service experience with emphasis on sales, inventory, ordering, receiving, or processing of orders or other documents. Strong verbal skills required. Experience with
- Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
- Background check required
- Drug screening required
