Location: Tampa, 33609 – On-site, (Hybrid once brought on perm) 

Pay: $30.00 to $38.00 per hour

Type: Contract-to-hire

Job description:

• Payroll Processing: Manage full-cycle, multi-state payroll, ensuring accuracy and timely execution across all pay cycles.

• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to all wage and tax regulations, including audits, reconciliations, tax filings, and year-end reporting.

• HRIS & Systems Support: Assist with system transitions through data validation, testing, and issue resolution.

• Employee Support: Serve as a point of contact for payroll inquiries, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

• Process Improvement & Collaboration: Document procedures, support projects, and partner cross-functionally in a hybrid work environment.

Requirements:

• Must have (4)+ years of experience with UKG payroll processing including taxes, multi-state, and benefits
• MS Excel - Advanced: Pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, large data set manipulation, reconciliation, and file mapping/import
• Must have strong job tenure
• Must have high-speed internet, private designated workspace
• Employment verification required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background check required
• Drug screening required
