About the Role: Call Center Representative – Reimbursement Specialist
As a Call Center Representative – Reimbursement Specialist, you’ll verify patient insurance benefits to ensure there are no lapses in coverage that could affect ongoing therapy. This involves checking current policy details and confirming that the patient’s coverage remains active throughout their treatment period.
This role ensures healthcare providers have up-to-date information about the patient’s insurance coverage to guarantee they will receive appropriate reimbursement for their services. This includes verifying network status and reimbursement rates. Confirm that all necessary prior authorizations are in place and valid. Ensure that any required documentation is submitted correctly, and that authorization remains active to avoid interruptions in treatment.
Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
Contract Duration: December 2024 – February 2025
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Location: Fully Remote (equipment pickup/drop-off required in Lake Mary, FL)
Job Requirements
- 1+ year experience in healthcare, insurance, or customer service.
- Familiarity with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Private, designated workspace and reliable internet.
- Must be able to pick up and return equipment in Lake Mary, FL.
- Background and education verification required.
