Job ID 13630 – Family Services Specialist – Crisis/Call Center

Type: Direct Hire

Pay: $17.75/hourly maximum depending on previous job applicable experience

Hours: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM – Training hours begin at 8:30 AM

 

Provides counselling, crisis intervention, and information referral services for health and human services programs in response to client needs. 

Job Duties:

  • Answer incoming calls and chat requests to provide information on services
  • Assist with crisis intervention
  • Request and refer candidates to services

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • (6) months of related work history or experience in social services/call center required
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions dealing with extremely sensitive issues (suicide hotline, crisis hotline, etc.)
  • Must be available for disasters (this company refers people in need for services)
  • Bilingual preferred: Spanish/English
  • Experience with federal, state, local government benefits preferred
  • Employer will perform testing
