About the Company:  Growing company located in Clearwater, is currently hiring clerical assistants. Initially, this position will entail assisting with various entry level office tasks, so the ideal candidate should be willing to help with whatever may be needed. This is a perfect position for someone with little office experience to get their foot in the door of a growing company. 

Type: Contract to Hire

Pay: Based on experience

Schedule:   M-F 8:00 – 5:00

Job Description

  • Scanning and faxing documents
  • Data Entry into internal system
  • Updating client files
  • Calls to various agencies to verify whether an application has been approved or denied
  • Send-out and Follow-up on faxes sent out requesting information
  • Break down files when approved
  • Call DCF or other agencies to get updates on files, often sitting on hold for long periods of time
  • Updating the CRM with all the EDP list
  • Open mail

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prefer some office experience, but not required 
  • Familiar with office machines, fax, copier, scanner 
  • Effectively communicate using verbal and written communications
  • Possess excellent customer service skills, be a good listening and be patient and kind when speaking to clients
  • Working knowledge of Outlook and Word, Excel would be a plus
