Job ID 12866 – Administrative Support Specialist (Procurement)

Location: St. Petersburg, FL

Type: Contract, this is a long-term contract position

Duration: Approximately (6) months

Pay: $17.00-$18.00/hour DOE

Job Duties

  • Reviews contracts, amendments, SOW and supporting documentations, and ensures that accurate information is captured in select fields in the Contract Approval Form in SharePoint Reviews and validates that the required approvals are attached
  • Reviews agreements for compliance with company and Procurement policies, procedures and standards
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships
  • Conducts the necessary follow-ups with the supplier and/or the company business, as needed, for contract execution
  • Distributes monthly maintenance renewal notification reports and ad hoc expiration notifications to the appropriate Procurement Managers Loads new contracts and all supporting documentations in the repository
  • Performs research on ad hoc inquiries regarding contracts
  • Reviews NDA requests and facilitates execution
  • Tracks data for reporting and metrics Follows the procedures accordingly
  • Performs other duties for Contract Administration as required

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of recent experience as a Purchasing Coordinator OR order entry / order processing experience
  • Experience working with Procurement contracts is a plus
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Analytical thinking skills / resourceful – ability to solve problems with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills – clear communication; little to no errors in their work
  • High attention to detail Strong organization skills Customer service oriented

Nice to Have but Not Required:

  • Proficient with PeopleSoft
  • Experience within the financial services industry
