Title: Inbound Sales Consultant
Customers calling in to buy insurance  (Auto, home, Renters)- Quality leads - Close 1 out of 5 calls
Paid Training- MUST HAVE PROPERTY & CASUALTY LICENSE 

Location: Kansas City, Kansas 66111
This position is hybrid, (3) days onsite required weekly


Pay: $100,000 average yearly earnings (uncapped earnings) Base + Commission 
Base starting at $20-23 per hour

Type: Direct hire

Training Schedule: M-F 8:30am-5pm. Mon-Wed in office, Thurs-Fri virtual. (Weather permitting) Training duration is approx. 8- 12 weeks

Department Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 9:00pm, Saturday 8am-4:30pm*; you are expected to work 40 hours/week with one rotating Saturday every 3-weeks, subject to business need and the Farmers Timekeeping Policy.

Job description

  1. Sell insurance products to inbound callers by collecting customer information, generating quotes, and binding policies; occasionally perform outbound follow-up calls.
  2. Lead Sources: Most inbound calls originate from customers responding to marketing campaigns indicating they qualify for an employer or affiliate discount and are seeking a quote. More challenging calls come from retail customers without any employer or affiliate relationship, which typically have lower conversion rates.
  3. Deliver exceptional customer service by educating customers on coverage options and costs, ensuring they select the most appropriate plan.
  4. Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities by qualifying customers for additional products and services.
  5. Navigate multiple computer systems efficiently while maintaining a seamless and professional interaction with customers.
  6. Manage daily call volume, averaging 12–15 calls per day, including inbound inquiries, outbound follow-ups, and post-sale policy processing.

 

Requirements:

  • Must Have Property & Casualty (P&C) license and experience in Field ideally selling Insurance- Auto insurance ideally.
  • Must be tech savvy and adaptable, must be able to learn and navigate CRMs and multiple screens/software systems.
  • Must have professional verbal and written communication skills with strong sales acumen.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Background check required
