Customer Service Representative

Company:  Well-established and stable company in the St. Petersburg area is looking for an experienced Customer Service professional. Call Center experience is required. Free gym for yourself and Family member on site, Basketball court, volleyball and ping pong tables all on site free of use. Large walking trails etc. Contract to hire role, 600 hours then perm. 

401K 100% match up to 6% after 90 days 
100% Insurance coverage-subject to change  
ST, LT, Life, dental

Schedule:   Mon to Fri 12-ppm with rotational weekends.The weekend hours are 8:30-5:00 

Pay: $14.00 hr.

Job Description:  Your main responsibilities will be:

  • This person is taking in First Notice of Loss calls from homeowners that are looking to file a possible claim from damage.
  • Share in First Notice of Loss phone coverage and handle periods of high call volume.
  • They will establish claim setup for losses received via email, fax, policyholder and/or agent calls.
  • Provide guidance on claims process.
  • Take ownership of calls and provides a point of contact, if needed.
  • Process email or fax correspondence to the appropriate claims staff.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while being truly empathetic.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 1 year of CSR experience either on phones -Call Center
  • Must have an interest to get into insurance industry.             
  • Able to stay calm and be empathetic, great people skills.
  • This company is a tobacco free company.
