Company: Well established local specialty pharmacy seeking A/R Billing Coordinator for their North Orlando office. 

Type: Direct Hire

Pay: Depending on Experience

Job Description:

1) Reviews rejected claims and taking necessary steps to finalize claim, to include re verification of insurance, obtaining prior authorizations, contacting Payor, physician offices & patients. 

2) Reviews Pharmacy order and label verifying that the billing information matches dispense prior to submission of claim.

3) Contacts patients to set up or reschedule delivery and update appropriate staff.

4) Ensures copays are collected or billed to appropriate Payor.

5) Timely and accurate submission of paper claim. 

6) Responsible for accurate submission of necessary documentation to the insurance companies with claims.

7) Responsible for knowing and following policies and procedures.

8) Participates in collection activities and accounts receivable management. 

9) Participates in Center Quality Assurance to ensure achievement of excellence.

10) Ensures A/R reflects the appropriate amount expected from Insurance Carrier.

Requirements and Qualifications:

1 year experience in billing, cash posting or collection procedures preferred.

Healthcare billing a plus.

CPR+ knowledge a plus.

Good communication.

Upbeat personality.

Must be empathetic.

Extremely detail oriented/strong attention to detail.

Computer savvy.

Proactive and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
