Customer Care Specialist (Phones)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Pay: Hourly, depending on experience  

Job Description

  • This person is taking about 50 inbound calls from participants of COBRA or HSA plans.
  • Most of the calls are to help answer the Participant's questions about if payment was received, if they still have coverage or updates on their account.
  • This person will assist with inbound calls and make outbound calls to Participants that when online and asked for help.
  • They will enter all the notes from their conversation into their internal database and at times email enrollment paperwork to the Participants.
  • Important that before calls they read the previous notes in the system from the last conversation someone had with the Participate to make sure the Participant does not think they are starting over with another rep.

Requirements and Qualifications                               

  • MUST have 2+ years of a Call Center Environment experience
  • MS Office proficient- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Effectively communicates using proper grammar and punctuation written, oral, non-verbal, and active listening skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including use of proper grammar and punctuation 
  • Technology adept including Browser and Computer savvy and the use of various office equipment  
  • Presents in a polite, polished, and professional manner upon dealing with customers and co-workers
