HR Generalist

Job Description:  This position is a key functional leader in the HR Department providing assistance to other team members and coordinating strategic initiatives.  This role is responsible for managing the benefit programs and coordinating with other team members including the Payroll Manager. 

  • Manage employee benefits programs and inform employees of benefits & assist with plan design and maintain effective working relationships with brokers 
  • Respond to any employee inquiries related to benefits and open enrollment
  • Assists with Benefit program design including medical, health, 401k and the evaluation on new programs. 
  • Manages HRIS (Paycor) system and is responsible for reporting, maintenance and administration related to HR data.
  • Manages HR side of payroll, ensuring transactions are properly and accurately recorded and communicated Payroll Manager
  • Oversee records maintenance for insurance coverages, 401k, and personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, termination, and other employee related records 
  • Preparing offer letters and general onboarding

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • PHR Certification preferred
  • Paycor experience a plus, not required
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a generalist role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong communication and people management skills
