Junior HR Generalist

Job Description:  This position provides daily oversight of global HR functions including, but not limited to, recruitment and retention, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, health and safety, employee relations and recordkeeping

  • Maintains compliance with applicable US, and Global employment and benefit laws and regulations
  • Promptly replies to employee inquiries and acts to satisfy requests in a timely manner
  • Coordinates recruitment efforts
  • Assisting in the development of compensation strategy
  • Conducts annual open enrollment and reconciles monthly billing for group benefits
  • Administers global leave policies
  • Assisting in developing and facilitating training and development initiatives
  • Creates and distributes employee communications
  • Remains current with best practices
  • Attend staff meetings and in-service training

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field required
  • HR certification preferred, not required
  • 5+ years’ experience in an HR Generalist role
  • Generalist experience with a focus on training and employee relations
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong communication and people management skills
  • Global experience, multi-site experience highly preferred
