Customer Service Representative

About the Company: Well-established Healthcare company in Lakeland is looking for a Customer Service representative. Excellent Opportunity with for growth and a career path. Will pay for education for a pharmacy tech if that is a field of interest. The ideal candidate will have Customer Service call center experience and demonstrate outstanding communication skills!

Type: Temp-to-Hire, will hire after 520-hour temporary period

Schedule: 8am-11pm mon – fri and sat 9am-3pm

Pay: $12.00

 

Job Description:

               

•             Answer inbound phone calls in a prompt, courteous and professional manner ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

•             Provide first call resolution where possible. Demonstrate the ability to triage or escalate calls when first call resolution cannot be performed to the patient’s satisfaction.

•             Contact patients, third party payors or prescribers through outbound calls to assist in the processing of prescription medications in line with state and federal regulations.

•             Provide support to pharmacy through the completion of tasks including but not limited to prescription processing for pharmacist review.

•             Compile and maintain reporting requirements as requested by the business.

•             Handle difficult people and problems professionally.

•             Accurately completing other tasks as assigned by management.

Experience:

One year minimum experience working in pharmacy (NOT required)

6 months minimum customer service related experience

Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
