Customer Service Representative

About the Company: Growing family owned Independent Packaging Company in Tampa, FL has an immediate need for a Customer Service professional to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a service oriented position with excellent communication skills!

Type: Contract to hire 

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am- 5:00pm

Pay: $15.50 per hour

Job Description

  • Assist customers with product info, order placement, order status inquiries, credits, and other related questions
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Assist Branch Manager in daily functions as needed
  • Assist in cycle counts and physical inventory counts
  • Coordinate service technician schedules
  • Keying sales reqs, bills-of-lading and purchase orders relative to stock and direct part orders

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in customer service role (receptionist or administrative role preferred, no call center)
  • MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Computer savy with the ability to learn new software and databases
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team oriented 
  • MUST live in Tampa within a 30 mile radius of the job location
