Administrative Assistant - HR

About the Company: Well Established Non-profit is looking for an HR Administrative Assistant for their office located in Clearwater. This position will be for a contract in order to assist the department with administrative needs while catching up. The person we are looking for in this position will be independent and enjoy helping. This client welcomes the ability to offer suggestions on more efficient ways to improve processes.

Type: 6 month contract

Pay: $15.00

Schedule:   M-F 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Job Description:  Your main responsibilities will be:      

  • Organize and maintain new hire, employee files
  • General filing
  • Run monthly DMV checks on current staff
  • Order office supplies
  • Communication and follow up on monthly reports
  • Employee verification 

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of basic office procedures
  • Previous HR experience is a plus, not required
  • Experience with ATS and HRIS systems a plus 
  • Proficient in MS office
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Effectively communicates using written, oral, non-verbal, and active listening skills
