Tampa Leads the Region in Job Creation

The Agency for Workforce Innovation released their unemployment figures for Florida and the Tampa Bay Area posted the best figures seen in 18 months. The percentage of unemployed is down nearly a point from a year ago.

Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties lead the region in job creation adding more than 7,468 jobs over the past year.   While moving in the right direction, it remains slow.   Very slow.
