Type: Contract to Hire

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Pay: $14.42+ hourly, depending on experience

Job Description

  • This person will be responsible for running a biweekly payroll for about 375 employees across 10 locations in Florida.
  • Assist with Account Payable and help with some administrative type work related to benefits for the HR team.
  • Assist with making sure millage is included on certain employees for their total compensation due to driving for the company
  • Assist with reconciliations that come us in the payroll as well
  • Help with light report writing and some reports in excel to help the Controller with overhead cost reports

Requirements and Qualifications                               

  • MUST have at least 2+ years of Payroll experience with 100+ employees
  • Paylocity experience and experience with MIP, preferred
  • Non-profit experience, preferred
  • MS Office proficient- Word, Excel (formulas & run light reports), PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Effectively communicates using proper grammar and punctuation written, oral, non-verbal, and active listening skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including use of proper grammar and punctuation 
  • Technology adept including Browser and Computer savvy and the use of various office equipment  
  • Presents in a polite, polished, and professional manner upon dealing with customers and co-workers
