Medical Billing Customer Service Rep

We are searching for Customer Service Representatives for a Medical Billing Department for a growing healthcare company located in Maitland, Florida. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the following:

1) Take billing and insurance-related telephone calls and emails (primary responsibility will be on phones).
2) Research and resolve patient problems and questions.
3) Process credit card payments for offices and billing departments.
4) Research and resolve billing problems from mailed-in statements.

The qualified candidate should possess the following:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Medical experience required
  • High call volume experience required
  • Minimum one year experience in a medical billing office setting with knowledge of medical terminology, general knowledge of  ICD-9 and CPT coding ,and interpreting explanation of benefits required
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required
  • Excellent organizational, customer service, and communications skills
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Related computer experience, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Extremely accurate keyboard ability and attention to detail
